ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Entrepreneurs Sandbox is a project funded by the State Department of Hawaii. The goal of the project was to offer industry-level equipment and services to help support local small businesses with product development, prototyping, and branding. H2I Group/Paton Group was able to offer consultation services to assist in the design and layout of the makerspace and provided recommendations for technical education equipment to be used in the space. The machines recommended had to have the capabilities to produce commercial-grade products. We worked with our manufacturers to expedite shipping as this project had a six-month timeline. Our team arrived shortly after the equipment arrived for installation and training. Our Sales and Service Engineer then went out for a follow-up training to ensure that the customers had the knowledge and skills needed to make the most out of their new makerspace.
