Introducing Kyle Saewert, H2I Group's New President

In recent years, Saewert has led the sales team through turbulent pandemic times, strengthened relationships with industry-leading supplier partners, and built a solid general management leadership team across the United States. During his time as Senior VP of Sales, H2I Group acquired Knight Athletics, expanded into new markets, and added to the growing list of products and solutions provided throughout our six regions nationwide.

In 2022, Saewert was elected to become President of H2I Group. “The Board has the responsibility to make sure the next president is the right president,” said Chairman of the Board, Paul Fedje. “I feel very strongly that the Board made the right decision with Kyle, he’s very passionate about what he does and we’re lucky to have him.”

In this new role as President, Saewert oversees all operations across H2I Group’s 18 office locations and continues to lead H2I Group’s general management and executive teams. Saewert also serves on the Board of Directors where he plays a role in developing strategic plans, looking for potential M&A opportunities, reviewing company spending, analyzing investment opportunities, and protecting the company’s bottom line for the benefit of its employee-owners.

When asked about the recent changes at H2I Group, Saewert said, “Changes come and go. This industry will always be crazy, will always have change. But, I do think that we’ve got some incredibly good people on our team and there’s some incredibly sunny skies on the other side.”

Currently, Saewert and his leadership team have over 200 years of combined experience in the industry. He has seen the company grow from a small Midwest company to a successful nationwide organization with more than 400 employee-owners and over $220 million in annual revenue.

Looking towards the future, Saewert’s vision is to focus on process automation, increasing H2I Group’s bottom line, and continuing his position as a champion of employee ownership. “We’re a very different company now than when I started. We are so big, so diverse, and so complex that what worked yesterday doesn’t work anymore,” said Saewert.

At home, Saewert is a father, a husband, and an avid Cowboy’s Football fan. “I’ve known Kyle for 20-plus years. He’s devoted to his family first – as it should be – but he’s devoted to H2I Group and its ESOP second. When he’s at work he’s all in.” said Chairman of the Board, Paul Fedje.

Saewert believes that H2I Group’s employee-owners are the company’s best asset. He has seen firsthand that when employees feel empowered to make decisions and take educated risks, they can do incredible things. Saewert said, “I am super excited to move forward and continue to work with the leadership and GM team. We have 99 years of a lot of good being done and I think we’ve got a lot of good things ahead.”
