Six Education Projects from 2025

2025 showcased a wide range of our Specialty Subcontractor solutions across higher education, K-12 schools, and research environments. 1. Aggie Square Sacramento, California

Aggie Square is a major life sciences and innovation campus tied to the University of California Davis. This 587,000-square-foot project brings together advanced research, doctoral study, and private industry in one integrated environment. H2I Group provided laboratory casework, flexible lab furniture, and laboratory equipment designed to support multiple research disciplines. The flexible laboratory design supports collaboration, adaptability, and long term growth. This life sciences construction project plays a key role in advancing biotechnology, academic research, and applied science in the region. 

2. Macalester College Locker Room Renovation Saint Paul, Minnesota

Macalester College completed a locker room renovation to align athletic spaces with their updated campus branding. H2I Group provided custom athletic lockers designed by Grid for durability and daily student use. Finishes and colors reflect the school’s new identity while maintaining a clean and functional layout. The renovation improved storage and overall appearance without disrupting the existing facility footprint. This higher education athletic renovation shows how focused upgrades improve student experience.

3. Hemet High School Gym Bleacher Renovation Hemet, California

At Hemet High School, the gym received new telescopic bleachers to replace aging seating. H2I Group installed retractable bleacher systems designed for safety, ease of operation, and long term reliability. The new seating improves capacity and flexibility for assemblies, athletic events, and community use. The upgraded gym now supports daily physical education and large gatherings with improved comfort and visibility. This K-12 gym renovation highlights the value of modern athletic seating systems in school facilities.

4. Missouri State University Roy Blunt Hall Springfield, Missouri

The Roy Blunt Hall addition expanded science education and research facilities on campus. Delivered through Sourcewell cooperative purchasing, the project streamlined procurement while meeting university purchasing and performance standards. H2I Group supplied laboratory furniture and lab equipment for teaching labs and research spaces. Now in phase two, the phase one building supports hands on science education, student instruction, and faculty research. This higher education laboratory construction project demonstrates how cooperative purchasing can streamline the delivery of complex academic facilities.

5. Norwalk High School Athletic Facility Upgrade Norwalk, California

Norwalk High School completed a full athletic facility upgrade as part of a new campus build. H2I Group provided gym equipment, athletic lockers, wall padding, ballet barres, scoreboards, and seating systems. The facility supports basketball, volleyball, physical education, dance, and school wide events. The layout prioritizes safety, durability, and efficient use of space. This K-12 athletic construction project delivers a modern environment that supports student athletes, coaches, and spectators throughout the school year.

6. Emory University Health Sciences Research Building II Atlanta, Georgia

Although this project got its certificate of occupancy in 2023, the Health Sciences Research Building II received SEFA Lab of the Year award in 2025. H2I Group provided lab casework, fume hoods, and specialty laboratory equipment for biomedical research. The buildings thoughtful design and specialty solutions for advanced research left a lasting impact, resulting in its 2025 Lab of the Year Award from SEFA. This research laboratory continues to support advanced scientific discovery and innovation at Emory University.
