Lab Glassware Washers
Because preventing contamination is so critical for the work done in laboratories, the glassware used must be kept as clean as possible between uses. This is why laboratories choose to work with H2I Group for laboratory glassware washers, because they provide the level of cleanliness needed to ensure the best possible results. We have longstanding relationships with many of the leading manufacturers in the laboratory equipment industry, meaning laboratories can depend on us to provide them with the highest-quality solutions for their needs. These machines provide thorough washing of lab glassware, including beakers, flasks, test tubes, pipettes, graduated cylinders, and more.
How Lab Glassware Washers Work
Resembling a dishwasher in many respects, these laboratory washers also function in a similar way. Items are loaded into the washer on sliding racks, and the operator fills a reservoir with specialized detergent. Once the door is closed, the operator selects the appropriate washing cycle and starts the machine. Inside, powerful spray arms thoroughly wash the glassware and rinse it using filtered water. Most of these machines also come equipped with drying capabilities using HEPA filters to ensure particulates from the air do not make their way inside the machine. When the cycle is complete, technicians can open the machine and remove the freshly cleaned glassware for its next use.

Benefits of Using Laboratory Glassware Washers
Installing these lab glassware washing machines in a laboratory facility provides numerous benefits over hand-washing. These include:
- Cleaner Glassware: With their powerful spray arms and use of very hot water, these machines ensure cleaner vessels and tools, which is more than can be achieved with hand-washing.
- Reduced Labor: Using these machines means technicians don’t have to spend time washing items by hand, freeing them for more important tasks.
- Greater Consistency: Automated washing and drying cycles mean the results these machines achieve are more consistent, which is important for compliance.
- Higher Efficiency: Washing items by hand typically uses more water, which can put a strain on resources.
