ABOUT THE PROJECT
The concept of the major renovations in Alexandria Area High School was to create an environmentally friendly school that would be relevant many years in the future. Many opinions were surveyed to figure out how the school would look, and therefore teach. H2I Group has many of our education solutions involved in this project to align with a forward-thinking way of teaching.
Alexandria was interested in a technology education lab that would bring all the four core parts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) into the learning space. These solutions included Stratasys 3D printers, MakerBot 3D printers, 3D scanners, CNC machines, a Universal Laser Systems’ Engraver, Greene Manufacturing furniture, robotics & automations systems, a Roland vinyl printer & cutter, and a 3D wax printer.
Along with our STEM solutions, we also implemented lockers, learning stairs, wood flooring, basketball backstops, gym control systems, divider curtains, wall pads, tip n’ roll bleachers, lab furniture, sinks, and fume hoods.
