ABOUT THE PROJECT
H2I Group partnered with Hensel Phelps to deliver high-end architectural millwork and finishes for the Chamonix Hotel & Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado. This project involved a significant addition to an existing casino, expanding it with a new seven-story hotel and enhanced gaming facilities. The design process was highly collaborative, involving several iterations to ensure the final product met the Owner’s vision and functional requirements.
H2I Group provided approximately $10 million worth of architectural millwork, including wood paneling, standing and running trim, reception desks, custom ornamental metals, and stone countertops. The scope included millwork and finishes throughout the casino expansion, covering the Presidential Suite, hotel rooms, a full-service spa, conference rooms, multiple bar areas, a fine dining restaurant, and the main casino floor. The integration of custom metals, millwork, and stone elements demanded precision craftsmanship to align with the project’s luxury standards.
