The Minnesota Timberwolves/Lynx and Mortenson came to H2I Group looking for a unique floor hardwood floor design that allowed Class A office space to be directly below their practice facility. To meet these needs, H2I Group designed a floor that simultaneously met NBA performance standards and acoustic ratings for Class A office space. Through design and testing, we decided to install our Robbins MVP over an acoustic subfloor that dampened the sound transfer between the flooring and the concrete. To finish the floor, H2I Group added painted logos and graphics.

In addition to the flooring, H2I Group provided all the athletic solutions in the space, including basketball backstops, wall pads, gym control systems, and divider curtains. H2I Group specifically installed the divider curtains into a wall cavity so they would be hidden when retracted. The 14x curtains could then be lowered to completely isolate the practice court from view.
