H2I Group celebrated our 100 year anniversary in 2024, marking a century of innovation, growth, and unwavering dedication to excellence. Since our establishment in 1924, H2I Group has transformed from a modest supply company in Minnesota to a leading nationwide entity, offering a wide array of solutions across various industries.
OUR HISTORY
H2I Group began in 1924 as The Industrial Supply Company, a small operation in Minnesota. The 1950s marked a significant phase of expansion for us, diversifying into new markets and products. This era of growth led us to adopt a new name, Haldeman-Homme, honoring our founders Duke Haldeman and Jack Homme.
A defining moment in our history came in 1977, when we transformed into a 100% employee-owned entity through an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP). This shift was more than a structural change—it instilled a profound sense of ownership and pride in our team, fueling our growth and driving our success.
The year 2019 marked another milestone as we rebranded ourselves to H2I Group. Our journey through the years has been characterized by strategic acquisitions and the establishment of new offices, broadening our reach from a local supplier to a nationwide leader. Today, we proudly stand with over 400 employees and 18 offices spread across the United States.
During our 100th anniversary in 2024, we reflected on our past with pride and looked to the future with excitement. Our centennial celebration was not just about our legacy but a forward-looking perspective, embracing the opportunities and innovations that the future holds for H2I Group.
