ABOUT THE PROJECT
This Industrial Refinery Laboratory in Louisiana is a confidential oil refinery project developed in collaboration with WDG Architects and Engineers and The McDonnell Group. H2I Group provided lab consulting services, working closely with lab managers to optimize the layout for lab snorkels, umbilicals, countertops, accessories, casework, and fume hoods while ensuring compliance with refinery safety standards. The project required detailed planning due to a high density of equipment, including 78 fume hoods in a limited space, and the need for specialized design to reclaim water and ensure safe handling of volatile chemicals. H2I Group coordinated with manufacturers like Bedcolab, Labconco, Durcon, WaterSaver, and Nederman to supply the necessary lab components, focusing on practicality and safety to support the laboratory’s industrial testing functions.
