H2I Group partnered with Western Builders and BGK Architects to provide comprehensive laboratory solutions for the new Academic Sciences Building at Texas Tech University. This cutting-edge facility serves as a teaching and research hub for five departments within the College of Arts & Sciences: Biological Sciences, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Geosciences, Physics & Astronomy, and Psychological Sciences. The building also includes four specialized interdisciplinary research labs, featuring advanced spaces such as a clean room and biosafety level 2 and 3 laboratories.

H2I Group provided and installed an extensive range of lab equipment and furniture from over 20 specialized vendors, including lab casework, fume hoods and lab equipment. Careful coordination with vendors, contractors, and architects ensured seamless integration of these elements into the building’s design. The result is a dynamic, modern facility that reflects the university’s commitment to research and innovation, earning H2I Group high praise from both the general contractor and Texas Tech University.
