ABOUT THE PROJECT
H2I Group completed a large multi-million dollar ground-up laboratory project for the Cockrell School of Engineering, University of Texas. H2I Group’s engagement with the project began at UT System’s Capital Planning Office months before even the A/E was chosen. The H2I Group team provided full-service project support – from pre-construction to installation – of lab casework and equipment for the building’s teaching and research labs for the school’s petroleum and chemical disciplines.
H2I Group overcame some unique challenges during this project including freight elevator and supply chain issues. We coordinated moving materials into the building with aerial assistance and our special projects team showed the University why we are a Tier 1 lab supplier.
With the future of energy continuing to be shaped in Texas, we were proud to be a part of this project and this step forward for the school of engineering at the UT Austin campus.
