ABOUT THE PROJECT
The San Francisco Police Department Traffic Company and Forensic Services Building is a 90,000-square-foot crime lab. The project was designed and built to withstand a major earthquake and strengthen San Francisco’s emergency response capabilities.
H2I Group worked with architect HOK and general contractor Clark Construction to provide laboratory casework, fixtures, furniture, seating and sinks for the new crime lab. H2I Group’s pre-construction team discussed equipment requirements and installation directly with each vendor, folding them into the project as a team member, resulting in custom equipment designed to the clients exact specifications. This project was designed to be LEED Gold Certified.
