ABOUT THE PROJECT
The University of Houston Downtown Sciences & Technology Building is the first LEED Gold building in the University of Houston System and a showcase for the University’s mission to provide accessible and inclusive science education to all Houstonians.
The 105,000 square foot facility features state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms designed to inspire students from diverse backgrounds. H2I Group worked with construction manager Vaughn Construction and architect Kirksey Architects to provide AMS inset steel casework, AMS solution series fume hoods and Trespa phenolic countertops.
