ABOUT THE PROJECT
H2I Group partnered with architect Cavagnero and General Contractor Truebeck to design and build a new laboratory for the Arc Institute in Palo Alto, California. Arc, a non-profit research organization working in partnership with Stanford University, UCSF, and UC Berkeley, focuses on enabling significant scientific advances in areas such as cancer, neurodegeneration, and immune dysfunction.
The new facility, conceptualized to align with Arc’s vision of a functional yet aesthetically pleasing space, features unique elements like a custom-designed umbilical chase made from perforated metal with a bubble-like appearance. H2I Group also supplied cutting-edge lab equipment, including Bedco TruView Fume Hoods and Bedco Symphony Benches, enhancing the research capabilities of the institute. This project resulted in a state-of-the-art laboratory that not only meets the technical needs of Arc’s researchers but also symbolizes the institute’s commitment to accelerating scientific progress and impacting patient care.
